nasty white color

I love ecru, I recently purchased the dooney and burke ecru purse. These pants are not ecru. Its more of an acid white bleach color. So horrible and way too long for my 5'5 height. Sad thing is I couldn't refund this as a family emergency that required me to leave the US prevented me from returning within in the 30 day policy. City Chic refused to help with a refund and so did Macys. I will not purchase City Chic items anymore. They seem to believe 2 deaths in the family that required me to leave the country for a month is not an excuse to help with a refund even though I am have it in the original packaging and used my Macys card. I would give this zero stars if I could.
