I use the defender because it’s dependable. I am routinely disappointed in the lack of color options.

Good investment
Very sturdy, easy to install. Cover is tight an a little difficult to apply but the quality is outstanding. Delivery time was terrible!

It will protect the iPad
Item arrived quickly, nicely packaged. The case is a nice size and seems to have a lot of sturdiness. It does NOT come with a glass screen cover. You have to purchase one separately. The assembly directions suck, they need to be better written. They are very basic and confusing if you are not a techie head which we are not. The iPad cover fits true to form and feels like it will protect the iPad. The back part where the kick stand is SUCKS! The stand does not snap into the front piece to hold it together it just sits onto of the other so it slides all over. The kick stand has limited positions so it has not been very useable for the different drafting tables it’s used on. If the case wasn’t needed due to the iPad being used on a construction site it would have been sent back for having useless kick stand.

Protection to a Fault
The Otter Box provides great protection from the many drops my iPad incurs. There is one weakness/challenge that may be required for the protection, but it is frustrating. Getting the darned case open, without breaking it, is a challenge.

This case is terrible. I’ve had to replace this 4 times this year. I’ve purchased both my kiddos this iPad over last two years and had to replace the devices at least twice bc this case is basically worse less. I thought they would change the case after gen 3 when I first got the case but they haven’t. Once the flap part comes off (which falls after 1-2 days on the iPad), the case becomes no good. I’ve been able to make the case last bc I’ve used duck tape. For the money for this case, it too expensive. I do appreciate that I can the warranty but why do I need to do it this often?!? It’s very frustrating. Please take time to improve this case. It’s about time!!
