I bought this product less than 4 months ago and only on my second trip; the zipper is falling apart. All my luggage is samsonite...this one is a disappointment

Excellent weekender bag
I've had a year of trips using this as my 2-4 day travel bag for car travel. It's a high quality bag. It has the best pockets for organizing items. The quality is excellent and I love that it opens wide for packing with protected edges so when you unzip, things don't fall out of the sides. I'm a smaller person so I wish they made a 17" length version of this bag. The extra 3" of length makes this a little big for flight luggage on it's own for me.

Worst work bag I’ve ever owned
I have had this bag for a year now and have tried to love it, but I honestly just hate it. I’ve used it as my work bag. The bag has such a rigid structure that the zippers have torn up my fingers trying to get into pockets. The structure has also collapsed after just a year and it now slouches to one side. It’s unusually heavy compared to any other bag and it’s become a pain to commute with. I’ve really tried for a whole year with this bag but am now looking for a new one - really regret investing in this.

This is a beautiful suitcase with plenty of room and multiple zippered compartments to keep all of your clothes and travel accessories neat. The removable cube is there to use if you wish for keeping things organized and separated from other items. This is a very sturdy suitcase and I highly recommend it!

After only two international trips, this suitcase is a joke as the zipper totally broke off. I understand that suitcases can take a toll and I’ve had other Samsonite suitcases in the past that I have even given to family members in great condition but I should have taken other reviews on this particular suitcase more seriously. I actually had to buy a cheap suitcase that was better quality than this one. Terrible. Lessen learned.

I purchased all 3 pieces of the Silhouette 18 Hardside in navy to go on a 10 day Italy & French Riviera cruise. I absolutely love all these pieces, the quality of the suitcases, the zippers are heavy duty, the packing cubes...wait, let's talk about the packing cubes, the quality is superb, nice thick material, they have a zipper for expansion, yes, you read that correctly, I have never seen that in any of the packing cubes before, plus it compresses your items. I have been waiting for Samsonite to come out with a navy color, almost stalking them, I wanted navy and I was determined they would make it for me. Someone heard my thoughts and pleas and they made these pieces (just for me :)). I love this color, it's deep navy with an extra shine, but not glossy, I can't really explain it, but the color is top notch for a man or woman, take my word, if you like navy you will love this color. I am a long time lover of Samsonite luggage, I am a person if I find something I like, I stick with it. I can't even tell you how many sets and individual pieces of Samsonite I have for different purposes. True and funny story, I had some friends over and I was given them a tour of my home, we went to the basement and someone said the section where my luggage is stored looked like baggage claims, we all laughed. The price when it originally came out was a bit high, so I waited for it to go on sale and I grabbed it quickly. After receiving the pieces, I can see why the price was higher than the other sets I have. These pieces are on a total different level. Thanks Samsonite for hearing my wants and needs and delivering! I just have one other request, can you make a set of luggage that can appear less heavy on those stupid airport scales, if you do my baggage claims section in my basement will be growing again. :)
