10 oz not 12 oz and More Grey than in Photo

This cup is beautiful, but its background color is grey-blue, not like the prettier, brighter, and slightly more turquoise blue shown in the photos. It is also smaller than the product description promises. I bought this set because the product listing says the cup holds 12 oz., like the other Morris & Co. mugs I've purchased from Macy's. However, the listing is wrong. The packaging (see photo) says the cup holds 10 oz., nearly nearly 17% less than advertised. It doesn't really hold a full cup of coffee or tea. (See photos to compare to other Morris & Co. mugs.) If you're buying it to go with the rest of the Morris & Co. mugs sold at Macy's, note that it has a slightly smaller diameter and it's noticeably shorter.

Pretty cup and saucer

The Spode cup and saucer are decorated with light pink and green vines. I have a lot of blue and white Spode but wanted something more modern and this fits the bill. Spode is English and the craftmanship is world renown.
