Very disappointed!!!

Was looking for the real Shalimar BEFORE they changed the formula in 1997 or so. Thought they made this special one on that original formula and it was NOT.

Shalimar L'Essence: No

Shalimar has been my perfume of choice for all of my adult life - that's 45+ years. In recent years I've noticed a change; it is just not the same anymore. I do continue to wear it but had hoped when I read the description of Shalimar "Essence", specifically with the enhanced vanilla, that it would be more like the perfume I used to love so much for all these years. It was not. I didn't like it at all, and will return it.
